Day 90- 90DaysOfDevops

Hey Learners! Welcome back. This is the last day of 90DaysOfDevOps challenge. It has been an incredible journey, filled with interesting challenges with Learning.

This challenge is designed to push your boundaries, gain knowledge about different DevOps tools, and get hands-on practice on that tools. This challenge teach us not only about learning theory but it teach us about applying that knowledge to real-wold scenarios.

Key Learning:-

Let's take a moment to reflect on what we have accomplished over these 90 days

  1. Linux Operating System:-

Linux is extremely important for a DevOps engineer, as it is one of the most widely used operating systems in the world, particularly in the server and cloud computing space. As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex software systems, and Linux provides the perfect platform for this.

  2. Version Control with Git and GitHub:-

Git is an indispensable tool for DevOps engineers, enabling efficient collaboration and version control in software development. As more and more organisations adopt DevOps practices, having a strong grasp of version control and collaboration tools like Git and GitHub is essential for DevOps engineers.

  3. CI-CD with Jenkins:-

CI/CD tools help developers rapidly build, test, and deploy application updates through automated pipelines. Rather than soiled manual processes, CI/CD connects all the stages – from commit to production – into a seamless workflow. With Jenkins, DevOps teams can automate the testing process of their code by running scripts and integrating them with various test automation tools as a part of the build process.

  4. Containerisation with Docker:-

Docker revolutionised application deployment through its lightweight and portable containers. By containerising applications, I achieved unparalleled flexibility and consistency across diverse environments, thereby minimising dependencies and streamlining deployment workflows.

  5. Container Orchestration with Kubernetes:-

Kubernetes emerged as the cornerstone of container orchestration, facilitating the automated management of containerized workloads at scale. Its role in automating deployment, scaling, and management processes fostered enhanced resource utilisation and fault tolerance.

  6. Cloud leveraged:-

DevOps processes are said to be very agile when implemented efficiently, but they can face limitations of an on-premise environment every now and then. Organisations utilising DevOps manage and automate their infrastructure using Cloud Computing technologies. This enables them to follow an agile approach to different work processes.

  7. Infrastructure As Code with Terraform:-

IaC is a key DevOps practice and a component of continuous delivery. With IaC, DevOps teams can work together with a unified set of practices and tools to deliver applications and their supporting infrastructure rapidly and reliably at scale. Terraform allows us to define and manage your infrastructure resources across multiple cloud providers and services declarative. It enables you to describe our infrastructure requirements in code. It automates the deployment and management of those resources, providing a consistent and reliable way to provision and manage our infrastructure.

  8. Automation With Ansible:-

Ansible emerged as the linchpin of automation, enabling the seamless orchestration of tasks and configurations. Its role in streamlining development and deployment processes cannot be overstated, affording greater efficiency and consistency in managing IT infrastructures.

  9. Monitoring and Observability:-

By implementing robust monitoring and observability practices, DevOps teams can detect issues early, troubleshoot effectively, and continuously improve their systems, ultimately delivering better experiences for users.

I owe immense gratitude to those who supported and inspired me along the way. To my mentors, peers, and the vibrant online communities that provided unwavering support and guidance – thank you for being the pillars of my success.

Remember, the journey doesn't end here; it's just the beginning. Keep the curiosity alive, keep exploring, and never stop learning. DevOps is an exciting and dynamic field, and your skills are in high demand.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read till the end! Hope you found this blog informative.
